Online Yoga

The Collective is now teaching classes online only!

Good and bad news today as I'm sure you've no doubt seen in the news. All non-essential venues are required to close as of today 23rd March 2020, which sadly includes us. Nonetheless, we are committed to supporting you and will be rolling out online classes starting this week. This weeks offering will be on a donation basis, we want you to use this as an opportunity to test it out and see if you like it. Now Open – $10 per class!

We are immensely excited to announce that The Collective is now officially open! We launched on the 27th January and were greeted by 22 amazing guests. We hope to continue to support the community for a long time, you can find us at Miranda Youth Club – 2 Central Road, Miranda – Right next to Seymour Shaw Park Our classes are expertly taught by Shawn and Ying for only $10 per class! Yin Yoga

The Gift of Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow, floor-based, meditative style of yoga, based on Taoist and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles. Each pose is usually held for 3-5 minutes. Yin is designed to target the deep connective tissues; primarily fascia, joints, bones and ligaments (as opposed to the superficial muscle tissues in a Yang/Vinyasa practice), which affects the meridian channels located within the connective tissue, stimulates the circulation of energy flow throughout the body and supports the overall health of the body-mind.
